Located in North Vancouver, the Prospect Road townhome project included the subdivision of a sloping site into three separate lots with a single-family home designed for each. Ranging from 5,400 – 6,300 SF the five bedroom homes all feature double garages, large living and kitchen areas, mater en-suite bedrooms, walk in closets, decks / balconies and landscaped gardens. An elegant West Coast architectural vocabulary unifies the project, while each house has subtle differences in materials and articulation to provide a sense of individuality. The sloping site provided a unique challenge that required the design to balance considerations for neighbours, an existing creek, and site access. Landscape design was important and resulted in use of retaining walls, elevated areas, and stepping.
